Where the money comes from

Commission. Each order button carries a referral code out to the official shop, and a sale that follows one of those clicks pays this publisher a share of it.

Arriving here first costs you nothing. The price is the same, the sixty day guarantee is the same and your consumer rights are the same as they would be had you typed the shop address yourself. The share comes out of the seller’s margin.

An arrangement like that pushes a publisher towards flattery, and saying so out loud is more useful than pretending otherwise. It is the reason the list below exists in writing.

Seven things this site will not do

• Award a score. Scores and stars imply somebody measured something. Nobody here has. You will find no AggregateRating and no Review markup in the source of any page on this domain.
• Manufacture urgency. No ticking clocks, no dwindling stock counters, no notification claiming a stranger two towns over just bought two bottles.
• Invent a higher price to cross out. Every saving quoted here is measured against $79, which is what a single bottle genuinely costs. No struck-through figure appears anywhere, because no larger figure has been charged.
• Bury the blend limitation. The fact that no individual ingredient weight is published is on the front page in section two, not in a footnote where it can be skipped.
• Flatter thin evidence. Three of the fourteen ingredients have almost no human blood sugar research behind them, and each of those pages opens by saying so.
• Curate the reviews. Accounts describing no benefit are published in roughly the proportion they arrive, alongside the positive ones.
• Say approved. No supplement in this country is approved, and the GMP mark on the bottle is a statement about a building.

Three supplied images that are not used here

The maker distributes an image pack to affiliates. Three files in it have been left out of this site entirely, and the reasoning is published here rather than kept quiet.

The row of institution logos. One image containing the crests of the NIH, Johns Hopkins, PubMed, the New England Journal of Medicine and PLOS ONE. Not one of those bodies has endorsed this product. Place that row under a product headline and it reads as approval no matter what the caption underneath says.

The doctor formulated badge. No clinician is named anywhere a reader could verify. A credential that cannot be checked is worse than none at all, because it borrows trust it has not earned.

The Swiss quality seal. The same label carries a Made in the USA mark. Those two statements cannot both describe the same bottle, and running both would mean publishing a contradiction.

Two images that were trimmed instead

One of the product panels came with another website’s watermark printed down its left-hand edge. That strip has been cropped out of the copy used here.

The laboratory photograph came with a promotional line along the bottom announcing a breakthrough. That band has been removed, and wherever the picture appears it is captioned as stock photography standing in for the research field, because it does not show any study of this product.

About the research cited

Studies described on the ingredient pages examined those substances by name, at doses the researchers stated. They did not examine GlycoAid, which publishes one combined 500 mg figure for fourteen ingredients and no individual weights. No trial of the finished product has ever been published.
